My projected NFC East standings have Dallas on top, New York surging, Philadelphia slipping and Washington falling to the bottom.
The NFC East has been one of the NFL’s most unpredictable divisions in recent years, and my 2026 NFC East predictions aren’t going to follow the consensus. I have the Dallas Cowboys winning the division with at least 12 victories, the New York Giants making the playoffs as a wild-card team, the Philadelphia Eagles falling to third and the Washington Commanders finishing last.
That’s a bold prediction, particularly with Philadelphia coming off an 11–6 season and still being viewed by many as the team to beat. But when I look at how these four rosters have changed, which players have left, which coaches have arrived and what we’ve seen through training camp and the preseason, I think the division is ripe for a shake-up.
